The parking structure for the Aquarium is steps away on the water side of Shoreline Drive between Chestnut Place and Aquarium Way.
Aquarium Parking Structure Credit: Anitza Valles
Please be advised that from April 16-20 there will be heavy traffic in the areas around the Aquarium, due to Grand Prix race activity. Please allow extra time for parking and travel time to the Aquarium. INFO
Park at the structure all day, and visit The Pike and Shoreline Village for food and shopping before or after your visit to the Aquarium. It’s an easy, convenient place to park and spend your day enjoying the Aquarium and surrounding attractions.
The fee is $8.00 for the day with Aquarium validation.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is located at 100 Aquarium Way Long Beach, CA 90802.
Parking can be paid for as you exit the lot with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) or at one of the parking kiosks near the elevators.
Street Closures and Guest Parking Instructions During Grand Prix
Thursday April 16 & Monday April 20
The Aquarium structure will be available from the Shoreline Dr entrance only. Follow street signage to arrive to this entrance, from Ocean Blvd/Chestnut Ave/Seaside Way. The Aquarium will close at 5:00 p.m., and all vehicles must exit the parking structure by 3:00 p.m. on April 16.
The Pike parking structure will also be available, however, your only option will be to walk to the Aquarium. If you have strollers/mobility devices/wheelchair users in your party, parking at The Pike is not recommended.
Friday-Sunday, April 17-19
Aquarium parking will be available at various lots near the Aquarium, based on availability and on a first come, first serve basis (The Pike not included). Please allow extra time for arrival.
From the 710 S, you will be directed off at Broadway. Turn Right on Magnolia, cross over Ocean Blvd and exit immediately to the right at “Catalina Landing/Golden Shore”. You will be directed by an Aquarium staff member to the nearest available lot.
From within Long Beach, take Ocean Blvd W, turn Left at Magnolia and follow the same steps as above.
For Aquarium members with pre-purchased parking tickets (in your possession), these will be accepted at the nearby lots (excluding The Pike).
The Pike parking structure is not recommended for Aquarium guests on Friday through Sunday. Aquarium pre-paid parking will not be accepted on these days, and no walking path is available (the path is restricted to those with race tickets/credentials). The $8 Aquarium day rate will not be available, and The Pike will be charging $25+ per car (with no exceptions).
